Topic: 1st Date? | |
---|---|
Alright this is what's going on. I started a new job last week, and this cute co-worker asked if I would like to hang out. Last night, we went out for some drinks. Then we watched a movie at my apartment. (Some kissing that was it, and nothing futher was pursed incase anyone cares)
People at work said he very nice (but that's at work I know) and he seems very nice and polite. Well the point of the story is I looked up his criminal record, and comes to find out he had some charges of 4th degree sexual assult charges that he was never convicted of, (maybe because they may have not been able to prove it?) I also found a whole slew of things, also when he was 20 he was gulity of having sex with someone with over 16. Something like that? So...... Any ideas and or thoughts? |

I'm tripping out that you even looked him up, I would be offended but at the same time with what you found out... Well, WOW!!!
My rule is don't date people you work with and then you won't have these issues... Maybe you can say your ex and you are going to try to work things out or something so you don't have issues at work... |

Never mix business with pleasure, cause if you have a bad break-up and have to work with that person or they have authority over you..Yikes...

I have done that myself here in Maryland. They have a great website for civil and criminal records. Thank goodness for public record. It has caused me to open my eyes a little wider on a few women I met.
Easiest solution is to back off if this put you in an uncomfortable state. Go with your gut.... |
