I've been seeing a lot of people complaining about others who take camera phone pics in a mirror.

In an effort to make some sort of statement about this issue -- and I will explain that statement as soon as I figure out what it is -- I have taken a picture of a cell phone in a mirror, using a camera. For those of you who are familiar with technical specifications, the camera is a Pentax Optio SV, and the phone is a Motorola something or other, I don't see any numbers on it.

The important thing is that this phone does NOT have a camera, and this camera does NOT have a phone. And the mirror has neither, nor does neither have no mirror.

This is complicated.

But I think it teaches us all an important lesson about technology and other stuff.

oh yes I see it Lex ...

This really becomes an artistic statement about how impersonal our human interraction has become ...

The juxtaposition of the technology and the human form ... does the hand own the technology or are we owned by it ...

...and how then do we make sense of it all ... is our worth determined by the number of gadgets we own or by how much we can do with the gadgets we have ...

oooh ... you're deep man  laugh flowerforyou

So you said "nor does neither have no mirror"
First, that's a whole lot of negative words for one sentence
Second, does that mean both, the phone and the camera, have a mirror? In that case couldn't you illiminate the wall mirror?

In the end, it's a statement about the inevitable fallibility (or the fallible inevitability, which sounds better but really doesn't work in this sentence) of mankind.

Because, sure, we can invent a phone with a camera. Hypothetically, if anybody could ever think of a good reason to do it, we could make a phone with a mirror. But we still cannot make a phone with a camera AND a mirror. It would be too cumbersome, or too expensive, or the mirror would make the phone numbers appear backwards and that would be confusing.

Imagine the frustration of trying to call backwards numbers on a keypad that has no backwards numbers unless you look at it in a mirror. And then you would have to use your wrong hand to press those backwards buttons. This way lies madness.

What's the lesson here? Don't reach for the stars before you reach for the Twix.
