Totally irrational fear of mice. Me too! I know where it stems from, though. My parents had containers of wheat, for food storage, when my sister and I were maybe 10 and 7. When went in the family room (that was seldom used) to find something it was full of mice. It had a nautical look, so burlap was on the top half of the wall. The room was more of a storage room, so boxes of stuff were in piled in there. About dozen mice were on the floor & burlap. We both freaked out!!!!! Yeah, I know where my fear comes from too. Thats' why it's so irrational. My mom was one of the strongest people I ever knew & when I was little, she was invincible in my eyes. But, the sight of a mouse sent her into shrieking, standing on chairs, et & that's exactly what I do. |
