yes, they can just be friends, but make sure that is understood from the
first time you speak. unless it is spelled out in a no nonsense way it

It is hard for me to be friends with a woman when I am single

I think it is next to impossible unless it is expressly stated and the
rules are followed from the beginning. I have enough mail friends -
would like a significant other. LOL

It is possibe, and a true friend male and female knows where the
boundries lie... that is a true friendship.

of course its possible i have guys i'm really good friends with hang out
at the bar and stuff who know i have no interest in screwin them or vice
versa but we're friends you know. we're all just people folks.
friendship can happen with anyone.

My experience it is entirely possible have alot of female friends.Deep
felt close friends.Intrested in sex,with a few but not all.If you can be
close friends with members of your own sex,you can with the opposite sex
too.We are human.

Tales,sounds like you pick your female friends on looks.If thats the
case,I feel sorry for you.You are missing out on alot of great ppl!!!!!

Let's face it! I'm not on this site to simply talk; I believe that for
all of us, the ultimate hope is to find someone whom we will eventually
meet, regardless of the motive.

its possible an kinda good sometimes to be able to talk to some one who
isnt trying to be a bad az or anything but a woman an also great to
refer notes back an forth its interesting sometimes an sometimes not.
but yes i have a few female freinds that will always remain freinds an
just that freinds im afraid that anything further with them would ruin a
good freindship an glad i had the chance to be freinds with them its
truly been great to have them as freinds.

To your question yes there is no reason why you can't be just friends if
that is what you want and yes it should be very clear to both partys. I
myself my best friend is a guy we have been friends for a very long time
some take it wrong untill they meet him and see that its only a
friendship. I also have a friend that at one time we did date for 2-3
months but felt we were better as friends and we still are 9 months
later. There is nothing wrong with having a guy as just a friend.

For you guys that say it can't happen well you need to do a reality
check cause you are the ones that are just out to lay as many women as
you can and most likely don't want anything beyond that. Just my
thoughts and yes I could be wrong but it does seem that way to me.

And I can understand why she is requesting single guys as friends most
married men there wives don't take to lightly to there husbands talking
to new single women. It leaves out the drama on that part.
