I just happen to be a big fan of hip hop (among other music). The gangsta thing is way overhyped, haven't heard anyone talk like that in a long time. There's no tension on my end. I thought it was referring to the Hip Hop culture. Most of the artists I see on MTV are not white, however, the culture is very popular with the white kids in my area. It sure diversifies the role models the kids look up and shows them other ways of being sucessful!
