to state I was wrong and sorry for including every one ,this is meant only for the ones who fall in what was said why is it that people that go to college,have degrees seem to think that makes them special,makes them smarter,better,they seem to think that any one who hasnt been to college is trash,that we are below them I am tired of this cause its not true by any means,there can be a 100 different reasons why people are not able to go to college.I wasnt able to go. that does not make me any dumber because of it. having a degree dont make u special,does not give u the right to walk over others

You're right OC... I guess they feel that they've worked hard and paid their dues... Some their parents paid but still they did it.. Most jobs you must have a degree to get hired.. The work place has set a new precedence...

well I have a couple degrees, and I think I am pretty damn special. If you lay down and take it I will walk all over you like a mat. Sorry, life is survival of the fittest.

degree can take you farther than without one. But it doesn't make anyone better. I know lots of smart people that have not even finished high school and they are smarter than your average college student.

The worst thing is that it gets worse the higher degree. Pacifists, Socialists, Communists... the list goes on and on. All they do is shove their worthless noses in a book all day, living off of mommy and daddy's money so that they can get their degree in a diploma mill, and they think they're of higher intelligence as a result. And this is coming from a person who went through the horrors of going through a four-year college. I couldn't stand the arrogance of these career student types and their holier-than-thou mentality, so I stopped going after I got my bachelor's degree.

Some feel that way but with the economy the way it is there are plenty with college degrees out of work out there too. I have known people with masters degrees working as bartenders, etc. I have a feeling it will get worse before it gets better with the job market the way it is. A degree doesn't guarantee you anything, some corporate jobs require a degree, but some of us got our jobs the old fashioned way and learned our skills as we went along. Respect is earned by the way you do your job and treat others, not whether you have a degree or not. My thoughts anyways.

I paid for them with blood, sweat, and tears. I didn't sit on a website whining about the fact that I didn't pursue a goal on my own, and desire for those who did to forget what they put into theirs. I have been on my own since 15 hoss, nobody handed me anything, I took it.

I am none of those things. I have paid my dues more than the normal person on the street, and am proud of my achievements. I am no better than the next person by any means, but if you lay down you will get walked on. It is the natural order of things. That being said my father business wise was far more successful that I will probably ever be, and he dropped out of hs at 16

You're making horrendous and grandiose generalizations. Perhaps your experience was bad, but most people have to work to get into college...work throughout college, and work for what they want after college. Just seems like what you're spouting is an ignorant projection
