Yeah.. I think you're suffering from some delusions, possibly hallucinations...

I'm thinking some Haldol and Cogentin, but if you need help sleeping I vote for Zyprexa. ECT treatment really works best for depression and suicidality, not delusions.

Is anyone going to admit they watch Dr. Phil? Other than me?

Yup.. Just as I feared. In my mind you are a tall, portly, mustached, bald guy with your voice... I'm gonna need some therapy now... Drugs, some electro shock..

So Peccy.... I guess you are saying you don't watch him?

I've watched his show a couple of times. He does come off as arrogant & although many people have excuses for their behavior, having him belittle them for trying to express themselves is uncalled for. He HAS been known to give good advice, but like an author, just because you wrote a book doesn't make you an expert!!!!!!

I'll admit it loudly and proudly!

I think Peccy just doesn't like to hear the truth. THAT'S why he doesn't like Dr. Phil. laugh laugh laugh

I don't care for him myself, but the times I have caught a little of his show, he does stick to the tried and true counseling methods in use in the mental health arena, not like Jerry who is just out to make us all look like animals with not a bit of control.noway

Well, given the above information...
If he is in the habit of calling people on their crap... Showing them how ridiculous they look when they are making excuses for their behavior..
Then I see that as a plus!

Hooray!

He gets it! Dr. Phil says what other might have in the past, but the guest might actually take it to heart when coming from him. He admits he can only do quick assessments, and does provide referrals to local mental health practitioners who address the issues longer term. He tells it like it is. He does not use whipped cream, or chocolate syrup, or sprinkles, or a cherry to make things appear better.

a solution will make known what will make another WANT to do different...what can do that if it first make one to not even believe in themself.....as each thing has the answer within themselves, and not from a so called expert....whatever call it self an expert will quickly become a non expert, and fall into their own pit. No. He is a trained psychologist who did consulting work through the courts, which is what is called forensic psychology. Phil McGraw has a PhD.

Dr.Phil is some annoying, unrealistic pompous wind bag.Winning of the hearts & minds of the majority is his concept 4 success w/likeness,appeal,ratings,etc.As if he's some role model giving out advice so lavishly. Please!look @ his prev. personal life.Next he'll be looking 4 a political candidate seat.(lmao)noway

I agree.

He is all about his ego, making money and having fame. He is a big joke and he knows it and laughs all the way to the bank.

And he is the kind of person who doesn't care what people think as long as he can make money being obnoxious or pretending to be an expert at something.
