Topic: AN EXAMPLE FOR WIFE | |
---|---|
imperfect men make mistakes and often fall far short of being ideal
family heads. so what should a wife do, she should not belittle what her husband does or try to take over the wife shuld have deed respect for her husband the husband to his wife also in fulfilling her role, a wife can do much in caring for the family. for example the bible shows that married women are to love their husbands, to love their children, a wife or mother who acts in this way will gain the lasting love and respect of her family. |

Does anyone out there ask God for wisdom?
The Bible also says that the husband LOVE his wife as Christ LOVED the church. If you're going to give God's Word, give the whole scripture. Also, tell your readers where to find it in the Bible. For example: The Our Father is found in Matthew Chapter 6, Verse 9. The scripture about husbands and wives that you are referring to is found in Ephesians Chapter 5 Verses 21-33. If you want to have a real relationship with the Lord, Read Romans Chapter 10 Verse 9. Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. |

Latino guy,
I really encourage you to read a book by Dr. Edwin Cole called Maximized Manhood. It costs about $8. You will never see God or yourself or women the same. It's an awesome book. By the way, let's do bible study. Jesus wants to be in a covenant relatinship with us. He is not out there somewhere holding the moon and the stars. He lives in the hearts of men and women. Do you have that kind of faith? |

BINGO!!!!
I bumped this out of the catacombs. It hasn't been touched in quite a while. Anyone want to take a stab at it? Christ assures us of completeness in Him, yet....... So, then. Inside or outside of that premise that is always something to learn or know about why we are so compelled to seek an imperfect union. I dare to walk in this deeper than ever before. Because of the Love of God, and because it has taught my heart to flow like water from a well and not from a rock. Are there limitations due our imperfections or do we just make them temporarily suspended to find our balance before the balance is given? How does compulsion and commitment meet and trade places? How full is full enough or is full enough full at all? Just curiously seeking thoughts and opinions in general and not intent upon anything but hearing the forum entertain this and voice personal reflections. Let's see what comes, come what may.... |

The man is supposed to love and honor |

if you are going on what they Bible says...I THINK you are referring to Ephesians 5:22, but you left out what it says about the man

Ephesians 5: 32,33.
This is a great mystery : But I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself ; and the wife (see) that she reverence (her) husband. Paul was seeking to exhort the power of Christ's love for us and using the marriage bond as an example of His perpetuity, and touched this from that intent, making clear the avowed distinction that we are not forsaken at all. In that, we are made complete and whole and in need of nothing further than His love. I wonder how well we understand our potential in our commitments. |

yup
the metaphor and the meaning are found in the same and fill all things, giving more confidence in the one and surely in the other, or the metaphor and the meaning would not remain congruent. And the congruence was chosen to depict the deeper truth. One leads to the other and the other fills the one. It appears to me that it should remain forever true, that truth can be touched through experience and that experience can touch truth. How circular is that? |
