Do you have any ideal what an impact that was for him to go hearing such a song that he loved so much. It will give his wife a memory for the rest of her life. Be proud you made his dream most likely come true. When it is time for me to go I hope I'm doing something that I like at the time. For him it could have been music or he would not have been there.
 Now he is an Angel singing in God's Choir what and honor.

It doesn't matter what song you were singing or whether you were singing at all. Death to most people is a very scary thing to witness, it's scary in and of itself. I know what everyone is sayin , but I still feel bad. And now his wife wants me to sing at his funeral. Do I ? It would be rude not to. I am just not at all ok with this at this moment. I am a mess. Just do what your heart tells you, If you are up to it, i think it would be nice of you, if you don't feel up to it, then don't...death effects us in different ways. I do think, that that it was sweet of her to ask.

maybe you can find some comfort knowing that his wife knew he was happy when he passed. he died quickly and not in pain hearing your voice....your voice must sound like the angels singing! Your singing brought comfort to his wife in what has to be the ahrdest thing she has ever experienced. Try to focus on the good things if you can. I think I would have freaked out too. Just not something that happens every day. But it's part of life and if he was a older gentleman he lived a good life and passed away hearing his favorite song. As for singing at the funeral, if you are up to it and feel ok doing it, his wife wouldn't have asked you if she didn't want you to sing. Made them both happy.

Maybe God crossed your paths and it was meant for him to hear that song at his time?..By no means was it your fault at all. Maybe it was nice that it was his song ..when it was suppose to be. I'm glad you sang it for him, even if you didn't know it was for him...
