The "FREEGAN" lifestyle?
I was watchin my tivo and of course Oprah had a show all about it... Very interesting, but scary when it comes to the food aspect. |

The word freegan is compounded from "free" and "vegan". Vegans are people who avoid products from animal sources or products tested on animals in an effort to avoid harming animals. Freegans take this a step further by recognizing that in a complex, industrial, mass-production economy driven by profit, abuses of humans, animals, and the earth abound at all levels of production (from acquisition to raw materials to production to transportation) and in just about every product we buy.

what is freegan? FREEGAN is a lifestyle to which you live by re using as many or all foods, clothes, flowers, so on and so forth... I would say its alot like dumpster diving... Trying to live off of the world... |

As long as we are not re-using TP, knock yourself out...I prefer the way I live been this way for 32yrs and it has not hurt anyone but maybe my health, I eat what I want, Drink what I want and smoke all I want, so soldier on....
