there are 2 kinds of soul mates we have in life. Most of us have them. These are usually our best friends or the person you're in a relationship with.
These soul mates come and they go, while some stay with you for the rest of your life.
Our TRUE soulmate however, is the one we are destined to be with as we go thru each life cycle. We are with them in past lives and will continue to be with them in future lives.
Our TRUE soul mate may not even show up in this life cycle, but rest assured, we'll still try our hardest to find them, because we KNOW they are out there because we were with them before.

I don't really believe in soul mates. Think it is just a term made up some where along the way to describe finding your true heart mate.

Soul mates DO exist..and most people have the wrong idea of what they are..most people believe that they are just in a romantic sense..not true..a soul mate is just a person that you feel a strong connection to and have shared past lives with(and yes past lives are real too..lol).It could be anyone..your best friend,sister,brother,mother..etc etc etc.
