So would you rather date a heavy alcoholic or an occasional drug user?(heavy drugs... pot excluded) Because me i've not got an answer i drink occasionaly and am almost 10 months clean so i'm trying to figure this one out for myself 10 months clean....  good for u...  stay that way....keep moving forward....it's a great life out there...if u stay away from alll the sh*t... congrats on 10 months  thanks, it is by far about the only thing i feel i've accomplished....because no matter what i do i can't top the knowledge of knowing i was killing myself and in a way saved my life. well now u WILL accomplish so much more in ur life... It's all good and it's urs to have... go for the good.... Time is on ur side ......use it wisely and research....go to school....take up a trade....and be careful of who u call ur FRiends... good for u....shoot for 11....and on and on.....  |

well i dated and lived with a alcohlic for a year and i also have a uncle that is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict.. as for the guy i was with if he didnt have his problem i think i might had been with him today.. i still talk to him every now and then and i have known him for 18yrs...

Nope..Had one that was a heavy drinker AND and pain killer addict. Don't need it. Yeah yeah I know I smoke pot but pot ain't a drug, it's an herb. Besides, I can still function normally whilst buzzed
