You have just been unfairly laid off from your job. As you are leaving, you have an opportunity to steal something valuable and no one would know. Do you take it? No, its probably a trap. ----- I did inventory this christmas for my retail job. Even though we were selling more then our store expected, we werent hiring more workers. Yet the store wasnt paying us anymore, and expecting us to do double the work. While doing restock, I noticed that the Ipods werent cataloged after returns and misfiles, since they all share the same scanID, they were just placed in with the others. Everyday when I had to enter the rooms with them I thought about taking one, never did, but it really ruined the christmas spirit at work. Cant say Im better for not taking it, but at least I dont have to worry about losing my job over it. |

I would only take my dignity with me, then I would beat the crap out of myself later for laying me off

how do you get "unfairly" laid off? I got 'laid' off because I'm big. My Uncle worked at his job for 14 years, and never asked for a day off, always asked for overtime and everyone liked him, but when it came down to laying someone off, the company laid him off. There were people who didn't even want to work, volunteering to get laid off, but my uncle got it. How fair is that? That's what he means. |

But hey, if there was anything worth to take, I would have. I mean, they owe us as employees who get treated like crap. Why not. I mean, don't steal a computer or anything that big, or expensive. If you need a stapler, then go ahead. Your boss, (The one that laid you off unfairly) can pay for another one, I mean, he's not the one getting laid off, right?!

how do you get "unfairly" laid off? I was recruited from another company, then the new company went out of business only 3 months later.... Knowing when they hired me they were going out of business... That was unfair.... |
