McCain is definitely not that way to go. He just wants to continue war. He can't even get Sunni or ****e right on who is on whose side or who might support al queda and he doesn't care as long as the war goes on and on.

the war will continue regardless who gets elected. McCain is shadey but not nearly as shadey as Hilary (in my opinion) who, yes, is bordering on socialism. I'm not a big fan of Obama either making empty promises and focusing his time and energy on things that will have little to no affect on this country and it's economy, only wasting more tax dollars. Both Hilary and Obama CLAIM they will attack gas prices which we all know is a flat out lie. They have no power to do so. Every one of them claims to invest in alternative power sources. This is a joke since this is only mentioned briefly with no actual plan. The government is already "investing" in this without getting anywhere. Every single candidate is playing for the same team i bet. Although more conspiracies flock around Hilary than anyone. So yea, we are screwed regardless of who we pick. Frankly i don't even really see a lesser evil.

I heard something the other day that made me think.

The billion-dollar Baghdad Embassy is so huge it takes over 5,000 people to maintain it, plus more to protect it.

Which means that it is doubtful that any one of the three who gets in the White House will close it, (expensive, unsafe, wasteful White Elephant that it is), thus ensuring there will always be a large military presence in Iraq.

The truth about gas prices is the so called "Greenies" AKA Eviromentalist lobby. No new refineries since 1976. (How many more cars do you think there are on the road now?) Stops every attempt at drilling for our own oil.

Hundreds of different "Boutique Formulations" mandated by the governement for different regions (why not take the cleanest one and make it nation wide so we dont have constant shortages in various areas?) and the FACT that the governement is collecting 50 cents+ per gallon in taxes (Which by the way is 280% more than the oil company makes per gallon)

Forcing the oil companies to add ethonol (EXPENSIVE) to the gasoline has caused an increase and now the percentage has been raised adding even more cost. (see following post)
