well if anybody gives a rats ass,I'll still throw my hat in to
volenteer,but I cannot say that I will be very nice to those who only
rudely bash and hate just to try to get laughs...

After having seen Secretman's (and aliases) posts and Bloody's attitude
with people (especially women) I think that moderators would be a
welcome addition.

Since there will be a Transition period going into where you want to get
the site I think it should be made known who the moderators are.
Personally I don’t see how SPAY or Michael could be neutral like a
moderator should be when considering their history (sorry guys, just
calling it as I see it). With that said, I would want to know if all the
moderators are what I consider neutral or if I have to worry about
someone sticking me in the back for past transgressions…

WITH THAT SAID.....OF COURSE SPAY WOULD BE AN AWESOME MODERATOR....... "

OK... so more info on this moderator stuff

There will be at least 2 moderators.. maybe more.
They will public - everyone will know who they are etc

Moderators will basically be given certain powers. Every use of this
power is logged. At the very least, we and other moderators will see
the log. This makes sure these powers are not abused and will let other
mods see why something happened

As far as moderator selection, we're still taking nominations and
listening to the community.

We think this will be a very positive step for the community and
appreciate everyone's input. Anyway, this has been a great discussion.
Feel free to keep talking. It will take us a little time to develop the
system.

Just let us know when to nominate.... or should I start a compaign????

sounds like a there is no need to worry about stabbing in the back
sluggo because the mods will be modded alsoas long as all the rules are
clearly defined and the options to the reponses possible by mods for
each type offence, everything should be smooth.

You say Moderator....I say Censorship.....its Unbridled freedom
which helped this site to growth....even those sappy poems have their
place....for someone to fence us in can omly hurt that inwhich this site
was built on.....please reconsider this venture....?

i dont see it as censorship.i see it as van&mike have a life too and
would like help to keep his constantly growing site growing in a
freindly positive way. not have to worry about people frightening
newbies away so their site can keep growing at a steady pace.
