I think iam4you,shadow,Tneil,kevin and catchme_ifucan would be a fair
groop.Thay all have good sence and jugement.Atleast one of them is
usually here aswell.

I would like to be a mod even tho im not that old.

I have hosted, (mocerated) chatrooms for msn, and still do on several
irc channels as long as there is a tool to keep the moderator/s in check
then having them would be a good asset for the community

Mods are a good idea, but like others here have said. It ain't an easy
job to mod. I been there, done that Mod to Admin. I think it would be
good for people to know they are mods. Either way anybody that is going
to mod the site will have issues. Come's with the territory!

MR VANCHAU, SINCE I CAME TO YOUR CREATION HERE, I HAVE MET MANY
GOOD PEOPLE AND WELCOMED MOST HERE IN YOUR WELCOME THREAD.

I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO STEP IN ON ALOT OF ISSUES AND DEAL WITH
THEM ON MY OWN TO RESOLVE THEM.. THESE PEOPLE HERE HAVE ALL SEEN
MOST OF MY VIEWS ON UN-FRIENDLY USERS, AND HAVE COME TO TRUST ME
ON MY OPINIONS AND ANSWERS.

TODAY WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE SEEN THIS POST, AND AFTER READING IT
THROUGH, I HAVE SEEN ALOT HAVE MENTIONED MY NAME AS
ONE OF THE MODERATORS TO BE SELECTED.

SINCE I CAME HERE LET ME JUST SAY THAT, I LOVE THIS SITE AND MOST OF THE
FOLKS ON HERE(POSTS)AND I HAVE MADE IT ALREADY MY
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO ALWAYS KEEP UP WITH WHAT IS GOING ON
IN THE THREADS AND IF ANYONE IS BEING STUPID OR FOUL JUST TO BE
MEAN OR INSULTING TO OTHERS. I HAVE DONE THIS BECAUSE OF MY
TRUE BELIEF THAT I HAVE HELPED THIS SITE TO GROW AND STAY, THE
SAME WAY AS WHEN I JOINED HERE.

MY FEELINGS ON YOUR SUGGESTION OF HAVING A MODERATOR ON HERE
WOULD BE TO SAY, HELL-YA!!!!!!LOL IT'S BEEN NEEDED AND THIS WILL HELP TO
ACHIEVE THE ON LINE QUALITY THAT YOU WANT AND NEED TO BE PRESENT HERE
DAILY........

I WOULD SUGGEST AT LEAST TWO MODERATORS ON HERE, NOT JUST ONE,
AS EVERYONE DOES HAVE TO WORK SOME SHIFT OR AT LEAST SLEEP.LOL
SO TWO OR THREE WOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP UP AND NOT BE OVER-LOADED
WITH COMPLAINTS.
AND I DO THINK THAT IT WOULD HELP TO HAVE THEM KNOWN, AS TO THE
PEOPLE HERE KNOWING THEIR PRESENTS WOULD SAVE THEM FROM TURNING
SOMEONE IN, BECAUSE THEY WOULD KNOW THAT THE MODERATOR HAS ALREADY
VIEWED THEM.....

IM STILL NOT CLEAR ON MY AVAILABILITY, TO BE ON HERE AS TO TIMES
AND LENGTH, SO IF I WAS TO BE NOMINATED FOR THIS,,THUS THE OTHER

MOderators are needed, no I don't think they should be kept secret. Tis
all I gots to say. Oh and like yah Iam4u, TxsGal333 and KarmaFury get my

SORRY SLUGGY, it's a bad habit, cause im to lazy to 'want' to
hit the caps tab,,,,lol.

well mods should be known yes, you will always get the occasional jerk
that wants to test the limits. I have delt with some pretty rough
characters. It's nothing to deal with people but there's going to be a
set of rules with consequences listed for each like msn chat for example
our rules were like racism was an automatic kick, iam4u lol the
following comes to mind......Do not use All Caps..............there was
a no kick rule to this one but a warning each
time.............profanity and other offences called for 2 warnings then
a kick..........the point is there needs to be a set of guidelines for
how to deal with certain offences

but there's going to be a
set of rules "needed", with

also we had to save the conversation leading up to the kick/ban and post
a report for the Sysop to go over

LOL 1 more thing to think about is a schedule, if you want someone
around all the time available for help, a schedule is a very handy thing
also, and whoever is all working to moderate the site is going to need
to be able to put in the time requested.

or just have enough volunteers, to where the forum is constantly
monitored by 1 or more....

Well have to admit it would take more than just one or two for you would
not want all of there time be spent on the forums as a moderators for
then it would no longer be fun to them to be here.

on the contrary txs I was moderating msn and I actually still mod and
ircop on some irc networks and have a blast joining right in there as if
I was just like everybody else cause really it's all the same except
when you get a jerk you can do a little more about their attitude when
the need arises, I find the worst part of it all believe it or not is
being around the times I was needed it took alot of shuffling stuff
around lol

well it's gonna be trial and error getting the right system set up to
minimize the work but it can be done and it's my bedtime goodnight
everyone and Vanchau I wish you the best of luck getting this set up I
know you have done alot of work and it's gonna take alot more ty for all
your hard work.

Mod. on this site would be GREAT, but all the rules need to be posted
somewhere, so there is no misunderstanding on what is allowed as a chat
and what is being just mean and hateful to people...some people, on this
site, really, do not know the differnce...like Spray...LMAOFOTF!
