 I had to read the bible everday when I was a kid but I dont read much now.

Well, I am not much on the reading thing but I have been religious........screaming "Oh God" counts as religious doesn't it?

no i dont got burnt on alot of churches i have my own belief and it is not popular belief

Lately I've been going to church but not reading my Bible much, which is especially screwed up for me because I don't belive that going to church does jack **** for your soul, you've got to read your Bible. That's God talking in the Bible, at church it's just some dude who dosen't even seem to get the Bible very well as a rule.

I read my bible about 1 or 2 times a day. But sometimes I get so distracted by something and 2 days will go by and I only had time for a small reading of scripture, like my devotional, but then I feel kinda empty. I'm better at reading my bible than prayer
 But I'm inproving with His help Louisa

A lot of times I pray more than I read. No set limit on when and how much.
I know I feel more secure and at peace when I read, especially the Psalms. I love the Psalms.
When I get really down and negative, I know I need to get right back to the Bible, or at least watch or listen to Charles Stanley. He is a great teacher, I think.

yes I agree, when I get negative, reading the Bible gets me focused on the truth and lots of hope and what God says about everything1

I agree the scriptures are comfort. I do not read the bible everyday. I think about what it says all the time. When i have something brought to me or i all of a sudden wonder about something. Then I search the scriptures to find answers.... Blessings...Miles

Not as much as I used too,had alot going on and started to lose faith,but if I quit believing I'll be lost.So I'm trying to read alot more.I do watch alot of Christian programs.

I read mine alot less than I should. I rarely read it anymore. I need to read more often. I don't know why I don't though. |
