Depends on how well you think you've gotten to know them online..I do notes/messenger..then phone calls for awhile then meet..Soooo I'd say 3 months maybe..but I'm not normal..lmao.One guy I met online..I talked to him for a year(DAILY)before we talked about meeting..and he went nuts before we ever got a chance to meet.

I think it's good to wait. I like to exchange emails for a while, like a month before I even hand out my phone number - is that too cautious?? I just don't want a nutty stalker - I already have one of those, my ex

I run from anyone who wants to meet right away. I need to talk for a couple of months, at the very least..e-mail, then phone..I want to have a really good feeling for the person. When I first started doing this, if someone wanted to meet right away I would..but they weren't interested in getting to know me..they just wanted someone to paw. Good things are worth the investment of time..

It all depends how far he is, sometimes it just takes time. It would be alot easier to meet someone close....as opposed to someone who lived over 1000 miles away
