I hate when you send someone a e-mail, which has nothing to do with sex dating realtionship,meeting them calling them nothing of that sort for example just saying i like your picture, or i like what's on your shirt, and you don't get no response,

I have stopped sending emails a long time ago,I never got any responses,so if someone wants to email me I will always respond,but yes it is annoying and imature

I don't let it bother me. But I do try to be polite and respond to all the emails I recieve

I dont think girls like complements right off the bat..and i noticed alot of them dont respond unless your default is your real pic...

Maybe some people take your simple e-mail as the opening of a conversation they do not wish to have. I agree it would be more polite to respond with a simple thank you, but perhaps they believe it is an invitation for you to write again.... JMO

I stopped sending the "first" emails too. I never get an answer, yes, no, howdy-do, or bug off.

I see now why I don't get any messages either. Some inconsiderate, (yes, I had to spell check that one...), people started not answering emails. "Like" we aren't good enough for even a "BUG OFF! YOU AREN'T MY TYPE".

Then a lot of us got Frustrated by this attitude... AND became just like them.....YIKES!!!!!!
If no one ever makes the first move, we are all doomed here. Nobody will ever message anybody..... Sounds dumb... Doesn't it???

maybe some people are shy (kinda hard to believe since no one is face to face right now) and they dont really know how to break the ice so instead of saying whats up and starting a intellectual conversation its i like you picture...

Girls don't email first, and the guys have stopped emailing, no wonder the only emails I get are the rude bastards! lol.

As for not replying if the default isn't real, that isn't such a big deal. I do go and look at the person's profile to see what is there and if there is a real pic anywhere. Not so much to see what the person looks like, but how they chose to dress and represent their personality.

After I was here for awhile, I started getting a lot of e-mails. I really believe it was due to having so much exposure in the forums. And I've always had a policy of writing back to everyone (unless it's a blatant spammer or scammer, etc.), but after my early experiences with trying to write to people here, with not one reply, I decided I would never write first again. And I don't. I figure if they want to talk to me, they'll let me know.

I dont know why people get mad.

Take things from where they come from folks.

Granted is tacky and shows no class, but no everyone will respond.
