Everything is always lost
in the words that we say
they are gone like a vapor
the very next day

It doesn't matter
what we may do
when tomarrow comes
they will forget you

The times I have reached out
and the hearts I have touched
never seemed to really
amount to very much

I have tried to make a difference
with a kind loving touch
because I wanted everyone to know
all of you mean so much

If I could take all the pain
and pull it inside of me
I would do this for you
so you could truly be free

The sadness I feel
when I see people hurt
I just want to take all of you
and prove your true worth

It's not easy for me you see
to feel a heart break
why do some people
do nothing but take

My body is tired
my spirit is weak
but I can't rest
for there's people in need

Remember me
when I am gone
I hope i've helped you
see a new dawn..
