I think that letting children become obese could be considered child abuse...

Weight problems are not just from over eating, there are alot of factors that contribute. Unless one lives it they do not know it and cannot judge it.

I don't think the point of the bill or our discussion was to judge it. Simply that it can lead to health problems.

Okay well lets just talk about obesity ,, it ia a huge problem no pun inteneded and will cost billions in health care .. I don't think that preventing people from eating in restaurants will help this but I do think that the child hood obesity problem and the growing masses of young diabetics is at a crisis point..

also how come you can type and spell and speak every other post.. me thinks sybil is on the other end...

I heard about it! I don't know how to feel about it. on one hand obese people have no control so buffets are a bad thing, a friend of mine is around 400lbs and is about 5'8" and we go to the Chinese trough and he'll eat three sometimes four times what I do and faster than I do so with that I think these people need help. on the other hand the govt. as far as I'm concerned has no business telling us how to live, but what is better for the obese person?

What do you mean obese people have no control. That is a prejudice comment if I every heard one. Do you think they all run around picking up food where ever it's found and can't control the impulse to stuff them selves?

It's exciting for me personally that you've decided to try rather than your prior whining that you weren't good at spelling.

But stop with your youtube posts, okay? Anyone that has seen them in here and then posted seems to have been as offended as I was.

some people can't control themselves and other people gain
weight from no sports or walking at all.

The bill won't fix the problem but it may save 1 life.
It could go either way.

did you bother to read the Whole thing? From my observation watching My friend grow fatter by the minute because of his lack of control is why I said that. 15 yrs ago he weighed around 200-225 now he's slightly above 400 at 410 to be exact. and he got that way By not practicing Portion Control, overeating and then sitting on his butt falling asleep.

that is what I thought that you met.. most measures of obesity by the AMA is the body mass index... take your weight divided by height... I was taught to do this in kilograms and meters.. a bmi over 25 is considered overweight and over 30 is obese .....for those of you that don't know your kilograms and meters you can use this 703 times your weight over your height

what offended you to think that way? was it the truth that I can back up with proof of what I talk about in my videos lilith 401??? I'm sorry that truth hurts you, but I'm very honest and it's from life's experiences that I talk about what I express myself. That's my right under the 1st Amendment to the Bill of Rights!

Spending money on educating people and health plans that everyone can afford. And making it possible for low income families to afford the proper food we be a better way to spend money and time instead of trying to control what people do in All you can eat places that by the way. they pay to use also.
