In my honest opinion, in this day and age, there is not true love out there, love at first sight, or love after a few dates.
Love <> Lust. People throw the words "I Love You" around like its a magical cure for cancer or something. Do you truely know what love is? How do you know that its really love when it happens? And last but not least, since we're drawing close to V-Day, why is love always symbolized by a heart? |

some symbolize love in different ways,take van-go(hope i spelled it right)he symbolized his love by cutting off his ear...But to answer your question,i dont think anyone know cause everyone has a different perspective on it.

Van Gogh... Yes he did.. You are right... I think Wonder has a point though.. The L word is thrown around so non-chanlantly that people fall in and out like they change their underwear.. Yet, I keep getting told that you'll never know unless you take a chance... I guess that is true.. WE won't know unless we try, we may be wrong at times but we still have to try.... Yes, I just made myself sick by saying that but have to admit the truth...

Love is a vehement and vicious devotion to another human being, so strong you’d rather pull your skin off with your bare hands than see a single tear in their eye. A devotion where you’d happily live a thousand lives ripping out your own innards and choking yourself to death with them just to see the slightest twinge of a smile pass over their blessed lips… Where being with that person makes you feel like you can do no wrong and no matter how many sins you’ve committed in the past as long as you’re with that person you’re closest to heaven you’ll ever get… that to me is love…

It's all up to the individual on what love is to them. Theirs no overall answer that everyone falls into. I thought I knew at one time, but that ended badly in my opinion, but I'm not going to get in to that. Sorry I can't be of more help. |

Truly, most today do not know what "real love" is. I think mainly due to lack of understanding, lack of example and so many people, as others have stated, using the term "I love you" with little or no weight to give it real meaning.
So is it still out there..YES! But its just a lot harder to find..and maybe even harder for the other person to see how genuine your's can really be.

Love is that one thing that keeps you from killing your significant other when they piss you off. Its that feeling that makes butterflies in your stomach when you see them look at you, when you hear their voice on the phone, or when you see they left you a romantic message.
Man I wish I had someone like that
