I've hunted before, no guns, no compound bows, no sitting around drinking beer wearing deer urine waiting for the animals to wander over to me, nope I was taught how to track the animals... so thats how I roll...

??? ive never done it but ive seen teh way people use their rifle and they are total retards ?excuse you? ever seen a deer that starved to death in the winter because there wasent enough food? I have. Ever practiced with your rifle until you could hit a knats ass at 200 meters? I have? ever spent countless hours scouting an area? I have. Hunters are the best conservationists on the planet. They love the wildlife, the outdoors, the challenge of the hunt, the fact is that they contribute more to wildlife management than you ever will. get used to it. dont critisise what you dont understand if you can stand it. |

Sure. Laying in wait with a loaded gun, waiting for a defenseless animal to walk by and then blasting it and watching it gasp for its last breath as it bleeds to death. That's what I enjoy!
You know, having a hunting season out of necessity is one thing. ENJOYING it is another that I will never understand. |

I'm a decorated vet. I hunt. I have to. We are overpopulated in my area. It is compassion so the animals do not starve. It is conservation. It is safety. In my county in 2007 there were over 1000 car/deer collisions. People are getting hurt and killed. We feed our needy families in our community with our overages of meat. And I qualify expert twice a year.

Hello biker,
I don't condemn anyone for hunting nor question the necessity of it. But what I don't understand is the enjoyment that many get from killing an animal. I never seem to get a direct answer to this from hunters. |
