Topic: So I get my eyebrows waxed | |
---|---|
Personal preference is all--I like the 'smooth' look on myself and the ladies --and I grow hair back every 1-2days--its not the act of shaving, or the itch so much that bothers me--its the bloody razor burn and bumps--if i could eliminate that--that would be solid very...i have very smoth skin too..but very course hairs...in fact i have to place avery very ..boiling hot compress on my face first to avoid the cuts..you could consider trying this too.....but the compress must be very hot first |

Ill have to give it a try...but how does it help?...I usually splash cold water on my face after a shave to bring the redness down..wouldnt the hot water only 'aggrevate' the skin?

no sir....cold water opens the pores...hot will close them..making the skin less subsestable??..i think that this is how it's spelled..lol....to cuts and abrasions....try it..you'll see that you will have less cuts..and never ever use a electric razor....they do so much damage...there is no moisture when you shave this way...thats the key to a great shave....to moisturize your skin first
depending on the thickness of your facial hair i mean.. |

what is 'threading' ...and as for shaving your chest hairs..ive been doing that for years..and everywhere else--detest the hairs..but so many times ive wanted to stop shaving due to the 'stubble-itch' factor--but I always relapse and Gillete Mach3 the hairs away Go to YOUTUBE and do a search on eyebrow threading.. it is neat! |

it does...but what is really paiful as well, is to shave your chest hairs, for that special woman....and then for 8 days later..when the hairs starts to come back..you scratch so much and so often that people will think that you've got lice.... never to happen again. besides a lot of ladies like that bear look... ARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHH i used everything that i could thing of at the time...even aloe verra from a real plant...i mean the real thing...nothing worked...hahahaha i never want to go through this ever again.. The trick to not get the itch it to keep shaving before it sets in. |

Hot water opens pores. Helps to clean them out. That is why steam is really good for the skin. Cold water causes the skin to tighten, cold water closes pores. That's why you should splash cool water on the face after cleaning it. |

hi moon..thanks for the imput....guess i was off on the pores..
but as to the men who shave though, makeing the face moist with hot water does make it for a much closer shave with less irratation..would you agree?.. i mean i do that, and with a freash razor,i never cut myself..or it could just be that this is what works for me... thanks |

hair conditioner soothes the skin, makes the shaving easier and afterwards will take away the itch when you get the stubble
