Ok so I have lived in NC almost 3 years and I am not thrilled with it...wish I was by the outerbanks!

well i kind like it here better ...but az does have some realy beautiful country and some realy cool things to see
like the grand canyon ..but i like the ocean and rain thunder storms
something az doesnt have much of...lol

i live in raleigh but used to live on ocracoke island, it was a dream

I live in Asheville NC.

I must admit i have been around the United States and jamaica and Mexico... and i love this area more than anyplace i have ever been...

But I'am biased i was born and raised right here in Asheville.

Born & raised in NC..lived somewhere else for a while before I returned.

Night life in the traid leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm just snap in the middle almost it seems.. i'm 15 mins from Winston-salem..45 mins from Greensboro.. 40 mins from lexington..2 hours from raliegh.. 4 hours i believe to ashville from here.

SO yeah.. i'm the middle guy... it's so effing hard to meet non psychoic ppl in around this area..you gotta be either a 'hardcore redneck' or either 'the richest mofo around' to even be noticed by others.

I'm just the middle man.. i work in a office from sunup to sundown.. i come home to my empty 2br apartment at night to sit here and enjoy a bowl of rice and talk with my dog for a lil while then it's off to bed if i'm not trolling on myspace or fubar or off reading some blogs somewhere or throwing mine out..

i live such a great life lol

from the awesome forrests to the beaches

where I did decide to buy in the mountains I do go to the outer banks ( Emerald Isle ) most every summer or fall to enjoy an E-NOR-MOUS amount of sea food and play in the surf with my Schnauzer's

Been in NC for 8 years, wouldn't say I don't like it, I just don't like the town I'm in. Can't wait to go home to Chicago.
