All i said was - God SAYS "THO SHALL NOT PUT ANY ENGRAVING IMAGES OPON THA BODY" . thats all i said

And you never said where in the Bible you were getting all this from...

BOY!What are we realy talking about?I remember reading something like that in the bible.I also read Somrthing in bible that Sins comitted out of ignurance will not be held agenst you.
So if you had never known,Than it was not a sin.

And <NO> I don'tknow where,But will be sure to lok it up.

If you didn't know before you comitted the sin that it was a sin; no it wouldn't be held against you. But after you know, you need to ask forgiveness and truly mean it, so that it ain't held against you later on. And it won't be.
youre about the only one that has really read everything i said ..laugh laugh laugh

YOUR VERY WELCOME!I myself have a tatoo! Will never regret it.But only one.AS for<<<<Aaron>>>I will look it up in morn.If you need to know now?LOOK IT UP YOURSELF!!!laugh

Well I looked up Leviticus 19:28 and it does indeed reference tattoos.

However Leviticus 19:27 says:
"Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard."

So if we're going to live by that list God was giving his chosen people at that stage in His timeline (and I question the tattoo reference anyway since the verse is talking about reverence or worship of the dead) then we are all WAAAAY out of line... except for the two members of ZZ Top.

YourLove1 - Biblegateway dot com is a handy online reference tool.

Can you find the other passage you were talking about??

I'm sleeved with my own art, so yeah it's not about fashion with me, just letting a little of the inside out.

What part of this don't you understand?????

BOOK?!?!

CHAPTER?!?!?!

VERSE?!?!?!

Or are you making this $#!t up as you go along??? huh
heres the chapter and verse, although Im not sure it apply's to today, If you do your research you'll see that when people marked(tattooed) their bodies it was done as a act of worship not like today...when reading the bible you have to read the entire thing in context and you also have to no the history as far as the time it was written...Leviticus is a book full of do and donts most of which we cant follow today, such as mixing certain fabric together was a "sin"..If you read the entire book of leviticus you will under stand what Im trying to say lol....well heres your answer my friend lol I felt bad for ya “You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.” Leviticus 19:28 — New American Standard here another passage in the same book, maybe it will clear up what I was trying to say.... 26 ‘You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor practice divination or soothsaying. 27 You shall not round off the side-growth of your heads nor harm the edges of your beard. 28 ‘You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD. 29 ‘Do not profane your daughter by making her a harlot, so that the land will not fall to harlotry and the land become full of lewdness. 30 ‘You shall keep My sabbaths and revere My sanctuary; I am the LORD. 31 ‘Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 19:26–31 — New American Standard

Yeah Revolution - and a lot of stuff in the Old Testament was directed only at God's chosen people - The Israelites.

If you look through that list there's a lot of stuff in there that doesn't apply to us today. We're living in the New Testament age and the Bible clearly states "You are DEAD to The Law".

So many people think the Bible is all about "THOU SHALT NOT !!!" when really God's focus is Love and Forgiveness. All the rules and guidelines are from, and generate, that love.
