Good evening to my fellow Virginians!! I am originally from southwestern VA. I did move away for about 20 years and lived way up north (Maine – once you reach the edge of the earth, go two more miles - LOL) with all them wacky (but nice) YANKEES. Please don’t hold that against me LOL!! And no, you can’t get grits or Krispy Kreme Doughnuts up there!! But I have moved back and am happy to be living in the Blue Ridge Mountains once again!! There's no place on earth like it and nowhere on earth with friendlier folks (I'm sure that I'm not biased, at all)!!

Blacksburg, Christiansburg? Anyway hi and welcome. My former spouse use to work for a brief time in Kittery, ME. I thought it was pretty and the people nice, once they knew you, but left after 7 mos. Can't drive in the snow, so I felt trapped.
