Topic: questions that believers are afraid to answer - part 2

From running into people who have died and were confused somehow about what to do next, I'd have to say it is a combination of vibration and thought. They can telepathically communicate and it is possible to feel what they feel.

and "fiesty wench" what significant knowledge was retain from these telepathic communciations beyond feelings...because those feelings may be the end results from eating a bad burrito

I hadn't eaten yet and a bad burrito would not be surprised that I could tell that they were there and say "you can see me"? The answer to which was no, but I can feel you. They wouldn't ask if this was the only cafeteria in the hospital and they wouldn't wonder where there family was. I was in my element, funch. I had no reason to feel confused, scared, and very worried I wasn't going to see somebody for the last time.

I've also gotten the answer to questions I didn't even know people had asked. Luckily for me, the people I took the information to felt right to tell and that's always how I found out they asked the question, but something in their belief system always blocked the answer coming through directly to them. Sorry, but I can't give you examples. It's not mine and as soon as the message is delivered, I let it go and forget what precisely was said.

I would argue that it's quite different from dreaming. Being in a meditative state is not at all like being asleep, nor like being in a dream.

..er.."Abracadabra" you mean something like drinking a six pack of budweiser ..not high or sober but full of it

Nope, meditation is not proof of anything. But it's a really cool experience none-the-less and I highly recommend it.

I transcend every saturday during greasy food and beer night

But then again, I would argue that there's no rational explanation to suggest that the entire universe isn't just a dream. In fact, modern physics is currently at impasse to explain it rationally. That may never change, or it might. Who knows?

the universe is reality but not truth

I still say that if you want to come to any rational conclusions you’re going to need to resort to pretending just like everyone else does. bigsmile

nah..I rather just be insane and not delusional

Yes, the entire dictionary contains the established definition(s) for any given term. Quantum physics has added to our language and understanding(s). However, the average person does not understand the concepts.

"creative soul"..just because the average person doesn't understand the concepts doesn't mean the knowledge is discarded as in the case of Quantum Physics new terms are made to explain the concept..so it's is up to the one that has experienced the unimaginable to come up with the terminology...if not them then who?

Well crap funches....I guess I'll have to do something while I am waiting...just for giggles and comments what do ya'll think of this poem I wrote?

My Dear Daddy
To My Daddy

My nights are dark; my days are dim.
I spend my time grieving for him.
To watch him suffer hurts me so bad;
to stop it, I'd have given anything that I had.

The chemo was rough and so hard to take;
thoughts about it keep me awake.
I couldn't believe it; it just can't be so.
I'm not ready to let my dear daddy go.

I had no choice; God took him in June.
He died slowly but way too soon,
But part of my dad lives on forever,
the part that death cannot sever.

The beautiful soul that I came to know
will see me again when it's my time to go.
Right now he's not sick or in any pain.
Knowing that keeps me from going insane.

I'll love my daddy forever and a day.
I'm glad his suffering has gone away,
But I look forward to that day when
I'll see my dear daddy once again.

no what you are doing is called "An Argument from Ignorance" (is a logical fallacy in which it is claimed that a premise is true only because it has not been proven false or false until proven true.) In fact, one of the most common forms of this is
"
* Something is currently unexplained or insufficiently understood or explained, so it is not (or must not be) true"

hey "Chazster"..I'm just going by what believers say that God is..that God is unseen and incomprehensible to the human senses can you name something else with those qualities that exist beyond the mind or delusion

ok "Chazster" tell me who I said was delusional then tell me why I said that they were delusional and then explain why they are not delusional ...if you can't do that then you're delusional

Of course the knowledge is not discarded funches, but would you accept another's created term to explain the previously unimaginable, without deeming the explanation delusional?

I wonder what you think of Spinoza's axioms?

I. Everything which exists, exists either in itself or in something else.

II. That which cannot be conceived through anything else must be conceived through itself.

III. From a given definite cause an effect necessarily follows; and, on the other hand, if no definite cause be granted, it is impossible that an effect can follow.

IV. The knowledge of an effect depends on and involves the knowledge of a cause.

V. Things which have nothing in common cannot be understood, the one by means of the other; the conception of one does not involve the conception of the other.

VI. A true idea must correspond with its ideate or object.

VII. If a thing can be conceived as non-existing, its essence does not involve existence.
