Topic: How about those COPS!!!! | |
---|---|
i have heard someone call the cops for," there is someone standing in
the road out side my house" and " someone threw a piece of paper in my yard" lol. i think those people should quit hittin the pipe and take a nap til they are sober again. i know it's probably just my feeling but people are way to uneasy and scared of our dirty little world. i agree with you though animal, why should i bother a cop if i can handle it. |

i've had people start problems with me and then call the cops on me when
they couldn't handle me and i felt like saying, go ahed, call your momma bitch lol |

It's always been that way, and it always WILL be that way. It's much
simplpler for the cops to find likely suspect and fit him to the crime, than it is to actually find out who the guilty party is. Fact of life. |

you're right too KAT. no one ever said the facts of life were fair did
they. it still irritates me some times. |

Cops suck. I deal with them most every day. People who like them are
the same people who have never dealt with them. Its not just a few, its a lot. Usually the older ones are cool, but the young ones tend to be road nazis on a power trip and lookin for trouble. Anyone in Law enforcement(they used to be peace officers)who doesent admit the situation is either an ignorant fool or in denial. You as an officer are either part of the problem or part of the solution. Where is the due process for someone wronged by a cop? Why is it that they can have a gun, a club, mace, body armor, martial arts training, psycology training, an MP-5 in the trunk, handcuffs, a radio where he can call 1000 of his buddies, bulletproof doors, shotgun rack between the seats, .... and he is afraid of you when he finds a pocket knife on you? They are either very paranoid or on a power trip. Whats the definition of a police state class?... When the Police have all the weapondry and the citizens are unarmed. |

I AM CANADIAN and PROUD OF IT. Animal to paraphrase a popular American
saying. CANADA LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT. Stop ragging on it and try to be part of the process to improve it. There are Commonwealth nations you can go to without difficulty. |

lol...I was poking fun at rambill's statement about when the cops are
armed and the citizens aren't, you have a police state. But I can see by your statement that you perceive Canada AND it's gov't to be as one. I have NEVER once ragged on Canada, I love this country and nothing will ever make me stop. But I DO have the right to voice my opinion when I see the greatness of my home being eroded by common greed and apathy. A country that EVERY male member of my family has served in peace or war. A country where illegal immigrants are put up in the Hilton for 2 weeks while a lot of hard working Canadians are lucky if they can afford to "splurge" on a weekend at the flea-bite motel. A country where one USED to be able to write a letter without being threatened by the gov't. It's ppl like YOU with yer "love it or leave it" attitude that allow the politicians to continue their bullshit. Sorry, but I'm not one to sit back and say, "Oh well, looks like we got fucked again, I guess I better love it!" |

And how can I be part of the process without trying to open up some
eyes?? Everything I've said can be backed up, it's common knowledge, not theory or conjecture or personal opinion. But sadly, too many Candians are either apathetic or suffer from lethargy when it comes to their country. Know what the difference is between apathy and lethargy?...Don't know, don't care. And that's the problem. We wanna go around with our heads shoved up our asses believing every thing here is just fine and dandy cuz that's what they tell us. I mean c'mon, don't you find SOMETHING wrong when immigration officers are encouraging Eastern European women to work as strippers so they'll get a visa faster??? |

you have alot of good points karma but i agree with you animal. i think
an important part of being part of the process is pointing out the flaws so that you can create a stronger country, especially with the state of control that government tries to force on people. i also want to say though that although it is important to identify the flaws it is more productive if you have some form of a solution instead of just criticizing it. i feel kinda like animal does about my country. i love it and i don't ever want to leave but at the same time i know that it can be great but we are not living up to our potential and instead of being looked as just a dissenter i would like for it to be known that it is for the betterment of the country. i don't like how you can be labeled and jailed for speaking out on the wrongs that are being committed and don't want to be told to sit down and shut up when i am willing to take the criticism that goes with speaking out to make my country stronger and freer. |
