You know, I do have all the respect for police officers...my brother was
a police officer and now is an FBI angent! The only thing that upsets me
is this...when my nephew passed away from a drug overdose, they knew the
heroin was bad and had something else in it. They knew who sold it to
him, but they wouldn't do a damn thing about it. Why? He was a drug user
and he had been caught with drugs before. Is that fair? NOPE..thats the
only thing I do not understand about our officers here. They have
everything they need to go and arrest this person. 2 years later, his
cousin died of the same thing...same guy sold him the same
stuff--unreal!! Will anthing happen? NO because he was known as a drug
user---very sad!!
This is the only thing I do not understand about the police force and
why they can't do something or why they won't do something!!!

UNSURE, IM SORRY FOR WHAT HAPPEN, AND I KNOW IN ALOT OF CASES
THAT THE COPS ARE WRONG, OR JUST PLAIN BAD.

BUT ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS THEY DO BETTER THAN WORSE.

AND THERE ARE STILL MORE GOOD COPS, THAN BAD COPS!

AND I HAVE SEEN MY SHARE OF BAD. BUT THE GOOD ONE'S STILL ARE GOOD, AND
MANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

King, I know alot of people from many walks of life. The things you
claim are happening to you, DAMN!! Sometimes it's time to take a look
at our own lifestyles. We tend to put OURSELVES in bad situations at
times. When I read or hear some of the things people are BLAMING law
enforcement for, I have to ask, isnt it that ya'll are just putting
blame elsewhere for your own bad decisions and the consequences that
follow. I'm NOT saying I don't agree that there are many corrupt people
out there and don't doubt that at times, you've been wronged, but how
often are you in the spotlight? After awhile, we begin to realized that
there is NO such thing as a rose amongst the shit. Just for the record,
I'm NOT a "cop" and I do understand the point most of you make. But
like others are pointing out, not ALL are the way ya'll say.

thanks iam4u...oh trust me, I do know that the good police officers out
weigh the bad ones!! I guess in some situations they just don't use
thier better judgements. I think in this case with my nephew and his
cousin...they have all the information and they keep saying get drugs
off of the street---well then do it!
I do realize that no one but my nephew put that needle in his arm, and
yes it was only his choice...but now, they have all the proof they
need...now its thier choice to prosecute...they just won't do it. I
guess we live and learn. But I do promise you this, if it was a child of
thiers...they wouldn't let that guy go!!!!

unsure, no disrespect to you, but what you see and know on the surface
isnt all there is. You don't know what is really taking place and quite
frankly, no one, not even a relative owes you an explanation. What
happened is tragic and I agree, very frustrating for all that are
involved, but for you to think that it just a simple case of no one
cares, they have "all" the proof they need, arrests should be made and
no one will make them, is just you not realizing that there are things
surrounding this particular case that YOU don't know about.

i understand what you are sayin chuckee because that is the same
response i get from everyone else when i tell them my experiences but
the cold facts are i didn't put myself in those positions. peopkle get
robbed and jumped all the time where i grew up and they don't have to be
doing anything wrong to have it happen. i don't know where you grew up
but bad things happen to good people all the time(i know i ain't
perfect)and i wasn't doing anything but staying to myself and minding my
own business. i'm not coming down on you but you don't know how much it
irritates me to constantly hear that i need to take a look at my life
because i have had bad experiences. i don't mess with anybody til they
mess with me and alot of ignorant people can't stand it when you stand
up for yourself and make them look bad in front of their friends so they
feel that they have to get retribution for something they started, just
for the record i try to walk away when ever i can but how do you walk
away from someone who tries to run you down or pulls a gun on you? you
don't because the kind of people i'm talking about will try to walk all
over you if they do.
we have a huge problem in this society of blaming the person who was
doing the right thing because they don't want to deal with the asshole.
they think it is easier to come down on the good person because they are
more willing to listen and try to help the situation and it has got to
stop, we need to quit coddling and catering to the dumb shits and make
them take responsibility for their own actions because i'm tired of
taking responsibilities for theirs and mine.

I grew up on the rez in Globe Az. I know all about being treated badly.
It's ashame that these things happen, but like I said, not ALL are bad.
It's just in the wording that some chose to use. I can understand what
takes place, I've seen it happen, but there are those of us who WON'T
tolerate it. There is a fine line between being an asshole corrupt
officer and an officer that has become desensitized of the crimes we see
on a daily basis. It is difficult at times and when someone is in the
constant eye of the law, it's then MUCH harder on that person. You
understand? I just want to stand up for the good ones, thats all.

i get that and i would stand up for the good ones as well because of the
nature of their job and what they have to go through, i just don't get a
chance to meet many lol. i know they are out there but i don't see many.
i don't think alot of people understand exactly how stressful being a
cop is because like you said people do have a tendency to blame others
for their own mistakes and cops make prime targets because they were the
ones that caught them. i still won't call them unless i need to for an
insurance claim but if i didn't have to do that i wouldn't call them
then either. it's just with the ones that i always run into you can tell
that they are stressed out and that they see me and i'm irritated they
go on guard before i even say anything because i am not a little person.
i think all of the stress combined with the need to be on guard all the
time burns people out and they need a vacation but i don't have the
money to send them lol

HEAR HEAR KB!!!!!!

I'm certainly not dissing the police. I've seen a few officers that
uphold and maintain the highest standards that our police forces are
supposed to have. I've even watched in complete shock as one died trying
to save the life of a child that, as it turned out, was already dead. He
gave his life on the SLIM chance that child was still alive.
I've also seen the very worst when an off-duty Ontario Provincial Police
captain, ran over a 6 yr old girl while driving drunk. Sadly, once the
good ol' boys network in Windsor learned the perpetrator was a fellow
police officer, the breathalyzer results disappeared and NO criminal
charges were ever laid. It was "handled" internally. I'd still be in
fuckin' prison if I hadda done that.

i agre with you animal, i am not a one sided person and i have had alot
of bad things happen to me that were not my fault but i have not let it
change me into one of them. i believe that there are good and bad and
that it just reflects the real world. i don't believe that a mistake
makes you a bad person either as no one on this planet is perfect.
there are some good ones and i have been arrested one of them lol even
though i fucked up i think he realized that i was sorry for what i did
and he treated me with respect when he spoke to me and arrested me and i
don't have a problem with that.

that would be different for me because in allof my other events it only
effected me but i have had someone in my house before(multiple times)and
they ain't coming back...didn't have to even call the cops. i understand
what you are getting at i am, i don't hate cops. my stance is based on
things that happen to me and me alone and i don't call the cops. if your
scenario were to ever happen i would probably call 911. all i would be
interested in was the lives of my family.

i had something happen to my step dad one time where a guy had road rage
and he stopped his truck and trailor on the road and i could tell he got
out from the light under the truch. i unlocked my door and took off my
seat belt and waited for him to come around his trailer before i got
out. my step dad knew i was going to kick his ass if he tried anything
so he drove slowly around him and when he pulled out (slowly) the guy
rushed my side of the car and busted off the mirror. my step dad kept
going but someone behind us called the cops. we both got stopped coming
into the city but the cops didn't do anything to this bitch but they
told my step dad that he may get a summons for vehicular assault later.
tell me that ain't bullshit

all these bitch ass people that fuck themselves over because of their
own stupidity and then they try to manipulate the system to get out of
it while i take responsibility. i've talked to a few of these people
after i caught them doing some of that shit and when they tried to talk
there way out of it when i was going to kick the shoit out of them i
told them that if they really thought they were hard for playin a
bitches game that they can let me know this once and i would play their
game but they didn't want that either, punks are disgusting. little weak
ass ho's......sorry bout the rant, that's all i got to say

lol..I had one cocksucker who tried to run me off the road THREE
different times. I figured he'd a got the hint not to @#$% with me
when I threw a chunk of asphalt thru his windshield the 2nd time he
tried it. After the 3rd attempt, I torched his car in the middle of the
night and left a note in his mailbox that the next time it would be his
house while he and his family slept. Much more effective than calling
the police lmao

I think that's part of the problem tho. Too many ppl call the police
over weenie little shit they could take care of themselves. Now, I'm not
condoning "goin' vigilante", what I did was a little extreme. But there
are so many issues we can take care of ourselves if we choose, without
bothering the police, often times, a police force that is too busy
trying to keep the city safe without having to get involved in petty
squabbles.

As for the one comment about quotas, my friend's uncle was a cop up
north. When he handed out a ticket and someone mentioned quotas, he just
told them, "Oh no, they got rid of the quota system. We can write as
many as we like now." LMAO
