Not that there's anything wrong with that. I mean, seriously people, do you pick the ugly dog? the parrot with one wing? the cat that can't pull its tongue back into its mouth?

We like pretty. It's not a prejudice; it's a taste. I like green in the spring and summer, yet my favorite color is orange in the fall and winter.

not true. every pet ive ever had was a rescued abused pet. something wrong with it. everyone needs love

You know what it means if you're not attractive (LIKE ME) it means you're not attractive.

I still enjoy everything I enjoy, even if I ain't purty.

Oh stop...you know you're pretty. I'd scratch your ears anytime..lol

Yes, Madam, but was that pity? Or love?

I wish I had ever been pretty - I'd like to know what that's like. However, here's an ear . . .

Are you saying that someone could only pity me because I am in a wheelchair? That I couldn't really be loved?

No. And I don't have to justify that statement.

I don't know you. I genuinely like you. Just today I was thinking about people in wheelchairs and how it would not matter to me. I didn't even know you were in one, I've seen you on here many times, and I've never said anything to you because of your age. I think you're cute as a button!

If we'e talkin' just talkin to someone, I'll talk to anyone. If we're talkin' relationship, I do think a certain amount of physical attraction is important and I don't think that makes me shallow. We consider and are attracted to folks in the real world first by their physical appearance, I don't see why it should be any different here.

Does it matter how a person looks when make your choices on who to talk to?

Whether consciously or unconsciously it matters to everyone.

I agree - it's going to be a factor, on some level, whether you're aware of it or not. It may not be the only factor, or even the main factor; but it's going to figure in there somewhere.

Not really. Someone once said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A very hot person to one person might appear as ugly top another. We all have our own definintion of beauty, and they are different from the next person. I have to be able to talk to and do stuff with that special lady when i find her.
