Here's a pretty accurate drawing of the creature:

It's not 100% right, but close enough.

Yes, the compaint's about the movie come from people who don't know much about cinematography and lack any kind of credibility! They lack incite into what the director was trying to achieve here!

I totally agree with that. Everytime I hear people complain about this movie, I just want to smash my head through a wall. Fools! FOOLS! All of em!! laugh

Good choice. It'll be worth the time and money spent.

Ok i decided to see it. I was more curious than a fan boy. But it was pretty good. I did get a little motion sick toward the end, were it seemed like the camera crew were using the camera like a salt shaker. And the monster was farking awesome.

But the ending...

WTF!?

Did you notice the very end? I mean the very very end...There was a small voice transmission after the credits..AND at the last clip of the movie, remember the part where they were at Coney Island? On the ferris wheel?...Do you recall seeing something fall in the water?

The audio clip, played backwards, says "It's still alive"

And no one actually knows what it is that fell into the water.

I knew about the voice message at the end because the stupid local radio station broadcast that out like it was no big deal. But I didn't see anything fall in the water toward the end. I've been looking online and I've noticed theres alot of theories and such, its turning into a new Star Wars I think lol.

i think i'll watch it...on video.

that way, i can stop if i feel sick...and start it back up when i've settled my stomach.

Nah, it can't be the monster. It wasn't big enough.. AND if it fell from space, it would make some big ass waves that would wipe the area out. So either its an... egg? or perhaps it was something that was responsible for the awakening of the monset.

Lulu, I think you'll like it, but I did have to close my eyes to stop the motion sickness. Good thing I didn't get food or a soda, I was running late to it but the previews were going on forever anyway.

SPOILER DON'T LOOK DOWN!

I just want to know what happened to the woman with the bleeding eyes, did she explode or was she shot? She was my fav character

The theory right now is that it could have been a satellite that was shot down by Tagruato to recover pictures of what it could have been the monster in the water and wanted it to be kept secret (can't remember where i found that info, but it was on youtube somewhere)

SPOILER

Marlena, the gal with bleeding eyes... her chest cavity burst. Recall the soldier who was brought in... his chest was blown out too. They purposely zoomed in on him.

As for the Tagruato thing, I heard that it was a satellite as well.

I'm going to have to go back and watch this to catch some of this. I heard there were videos online made by the people who did Clover feild, but that give some clues (like an oil drill in the water exploding) and stuff like that but its hard to find.

Ok I've looked around a little online, and I've got my own theory to it all;

SPOILER!!!!!!

Ok so that satilite falls out from space carrying God knows what on it and it goes into the ocean and comes in contact with a creature in the deep(in a crevasse lol) and mutates it some how. I want to think it was a giant crab or something, because i noticed it had little hands near its mouth, but I dunno. And the mutated monster goes on a rampage because its body is prolly in pain and its just lashing out wildly at whatever is around (humans!) But I dunno, it was a good movie and it left alot open so people can fill the holes with their imaginations.

Clearly the thing was in pain anyway... hence it trying to knock the little parasite things off of it. It definitely came from the ocean though...

And the small parasites looked like the things from Starship Troopers. But at least they rocked in this movive
