when I click on weddings or family and kids it says the page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed or is temporarily unavailable. Is this because of the flash player?

Change your site typography so everything isn't bold, maybe make it all smaller too, and use a font like Arial/Helvetica/"Trebuchet MS" (the most legible ones).

As for the method to bring money in, AdSense is perfect for making it, just don't do anything shady (don't click your own ads, don't tell others to, etc). There are alternative methods to AdSense and PPC, but unless you have millions of pageviews p/m, you technically don't have access to them... and don't bother with Bidvertiser, AdBrite or any other second-rate ad networks (at least not until you get everything else down).

Learn SEO -- go to digitalpoint or highranking forums and suck up every bit of information you can read... write it down so you remember it. How much valuable information those places spew out daily is taken for granted.

When you finally get to the point of advertising your content on other's sites (be it forums, blogs, whatever), always give something back. In a world filled with folks trying to take something for nothing, your extra effort will earn respect that will benefit you in many big ways.

And the most important (and hardest) part, content. Make sure that whatever you write is good enough that you'd be happy to find it for the first time yourself. Also, make sure you have something new every week, or every 2 weeks, or month, whatever, as long as your visitors know they can come back and find new stuff at a certain time.

Hopefully the above can get you headed in... a direction (although there's so many others you could start in).

I am planning on going over there in the next few months so I can make more local contacts and take more pictures...I cannot have any ads that sell travel sice I work for a travel company..so I am kind of limited...I am sure I could make more money if I could link into something like expedia.

it ranks well in yahoo but not in google or msn, tho in the beginning it only ranked well in MSN...

you do not need ad words it gonna cost lot to bid for you keywords niche witch travel related key word ;)
i will advice you to go with link exchange service, ring link ,also banner exchange, all are free.
i see u using pop up ad on u website most user don't see them (they use pop up blocker)so just take it off.
last thing you need to do optimize you website look and space
every image or graphic load slow up you website and you may lost visitors (because not all visitors have same mean or speed internet)
you may hire designer free lance (google freelance) and will make you attractive
fresh look for less than $80 back.

I own a domain, for a few months now. Before that I was just hosted by others. I only have it for pleasure and a personal hobby. It's just for fun. I know google adds can make a lot of money. To get more hits, just post your link all over. There are a lot of free plugboards and banner pages you can post on. Type in "site directories" "site listings" ect.

I tried to keep blogging my site address - I would get lots of hits but people would not click on any google links...stinks!

I joined a local web group and going to a meeting on the 13th..hopefully they can help me out.
