why do they lie in their profiles and their lifestyle? i know we have had the fake fotos on here etc but this is far worse.ive been chatting to this guy for a while, well since i joined.we get on so well, chat everyday.i asked for some fotos of where he lives as it sounds gorgeous and asked for a foto of his horse as its his pride and joy.anyway he did send them to me.they were beautiful but my friend pointed out that they looked like fotos of the internet!! when i checked again it looked as if she was rite.the 2 pictures of the horse werent even of the same horse,just slight differences which you wouldnt notice if you didnt look hard enough!, so i feel as if i have spoke to a complete stranger all this time, i dont even know if its his real foto or even if its his real name!! im absolutely gutted and angry at myself for not knowing...but i truely believed him!! why cant people just be themselves..we arent all out for looks, money grand houses you know.....i would prefer a down to earth, honest guy any day!

a valid question that has been asked for years.....we may never know the reason as to why ppl lie. Maybe to inflate their ego's....IDK, but I myself have no use for a liar.

A female I've been talking to on here kinda did the same thing.. told me she was a cop (in a city that shall remain nameless) and one day informed me she had a horrible day, she shot a suspect, and the suspect died. I felt awful, sent her flowers, etc. One of my friends pointed out to me, "Look up the local paper online.. see if there's any police shooting stories." There weren't any. So I called the police department where she worked. No one ever heard of her. When I confronted her, she admitted the pictures she sent of her in her "uniform" were actually a modified Halloween costume and she wanted to "appear interesting". She actually works at a grocery store as a check out girl. I wouldn't have cared, if she had only told me that in the beginning. But don't tell me you're a cop and one day you shot someone and they died. My God!

Your going to see alot of that on a free dating site especially when you can post pics of anything from cartoons to whatever as a main pic. Here you could pose as anyone, lie. Thats why I read what people say and I have a good memory even from what some random people say on there threads. Helps me put together a picture to define in my mind wheather real or fake, mean and nice.

im normally a good judge of character..but hell i balls up on this one good and proper!! well we learn by our mistakes just hope i dont make too many more lol

ive some on here who have told fibs to me ...i was talking to a guy...who isnt on anymore and a girl as a friend ...after a day or two she kept coming out with things that sounded very familar to what he had said to me...i think the girl was his mate and they were havin some fun with me ..too many coincidences for me too ignore...it wasnt nice and i told so
