I've read so many mysteries, over the years, that there's no way to list all the titles and authors. Janet Evanovich is one author that comes to mind, since I like her Stephanie Plum character.

I have read thousands of books so I can't recall most of them but "A Walk In the Woods" by Bill Bryson stands out - I think I read it about 5 times. It is hilarious.

I enjoyed "Atlas Shrugged" and "We the Living" by Ayn Rand, but haven't read "Anthem" yet.
Anything by John Updike (particularly the "Rabbit" series and the Bech stories), anything by Nietzsche, Carl Sagan, Douglas Adams, Richard Dawkins, Lawrence Block, Stephen King, Isaac Asimov, Ken Follett, Bill James (baseball writer), Clive Cussler, Robert Ludlum, I could name a few dozen others.... I'm reading an interesting one now called "The Big Bang Never Happened" by Eric J. Lerner. |

Ok, I've got a wide range of books I loved, so I'll keep this to a few.
I enjoyed reading the epics (you know, Illiad, Oddysey, Aenead, etc.) I liked a celtic mythology/ modern fantasy called the Wierdstone of Brisengamen. I also liked the Sir Appropos of Nothing series which makes fun of fantasy novels. I love reading the magical murder mysteries of Tamara Silaer Jones (not sure if I got that right as it's not in front of me). I could go on until this forum was placed in part 2, but I won't! |

The Da Vinci Code- By:Dan Brown
I never felt the need to see the movie after reading this book. The Catcher in the Rye- By:J.D. Salinger I decided to reread this book and it reminded me of the HUGE crush I had on Holden Caulfield 15 years age when I read it high school. Dispaches from the Edge-By: Anderson Cooper I recommend this book. I think we all can relate to his struggles. Your Best Life Now- By:Joel Osteen This book, helped my soul. |
