What is your favorite book of the Bible.....and why?

I would have to say mine is the book of Isaiah.

for the fact that it's message: Salvation is of the Lord....The basic theme of this book is found in Isaiah's name: "Salvation is of the Lord." The word salvation appears 27 times in Isaiah but only 8 times in all other prophets combined. Chapter 1-39 portray man's great need for salvation, and chapters 40-66 reveal God's great provision of salvation.

Book of Ruth. Ruth was such a wonderful, sweet woman and Boaz was such an honorable man. I enjoyed reading their story. Ruth loved Naomi so much, which is unusual for a mother and daughter-in-law to have such strong feelings for one another today. To this day, Ruth is a hero for many converted Jews, due to her faith and devotion to the law. And seeing the change that Ruth and Boaz's love for one another had on Naomi really showed the healing power of love.

Leviticus

Cause it says ....

For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death

I think kids should not be killed for something like that!

Deuteronomy

Cause it say's

If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the girl’s virginity can be found, she shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done a disgraceful thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house.

I just don't think we should stone people. Thats just me.

Ephesians

Cause it says..

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
