So there is this podcast medical doctor by the name of Dr. Steven Gundry who talks about different plant based milks. First milk is almond milk which is made from the skin of almonds and that skin contains lectins which over time can ruin your gut. Next milk is cashew milk. Cashews are part of the poison ivy family so if you like to drink poison (we eat and drink poison everyday) go ahead and pour yourself a tall cold one. Third milk is coconut milk which he recommends as the best plant based milk alternative.

Nut-made milk made is made from nuts. So almond milk is made from almond nuts not the skins of almonds. Cashew nuts are nice and tasty. Never drank cashew milk but I have yet to hear of anyone in the Caribbean or else where dying from eating cashew nuts or drinking its milk. Coconut milk has many uses and benefits. Can be found in some Caribbean cooking and baking recipes (also Asian dishes). For me, non diary milk is more healthier than cow milk.
