Yes, we are free to speak our minds.
And yes, we are free to do as we wish.

Can't you at least show a little respect to a thread that is asking a question?
We do not need any of your thoughts that have nothing to do with what the thread is asking or conveying.
We do not need any arguments.

If you wish to play around on threads or just have fun, or even if you want to argue a whole hell of a lot... take it to a thread that isn't as serious.

There are many of us out here who try to understand each other, who try to connect with others based on their thoughts and ideas.
And if you continue messing up a good thread, I am afraid I won't see very many writers anymore.

That is depressing.

very well said... I know I have been at fault for getting away from a topic, but it I try not to, as it is frustrating to the person to started the thread.

A few of my threads have turned into crap because of a few people who felt it was necessary to argue.
I also see this in other serious threads.
There is always going to be that immature individual, waiting to strike out at a thread, just because they can.

It happens a lot.

Just look them over... that or say your piece to them like a man. Either way, doesn't your display of how you deal with an irritating situation help other people "learn" about you, just like you seem to want?

I have also seen a thread taken over by a couple who were flirting back and forth and had completely disregarded the original thread. Why didn't they just take it to e-mail or something?

and that is fine to throw in a joke or two and just have fun with the people in the thread. it's just not good to throw the topic out all together just so another can begin.
