Singer Tina Turner passed away today after battling a long time illness, she was 83. RIP Tina.

OMG that is such sad news!! I must admit I didn't know she had fallen ill... She was an icon, someone to admire, absolute brilliant singer! As long as her music is played she will not -never- be forgotten. May she rest in peace. I hope she made a peaceful transition.

Who can forget the singer of one of my favourite songs .. "Proud Mary".... Tina Turner ... Sad to hear of her passing .. R.I.P.....
