Yes and No.
Yes, if you look at it by numbers.
No, if you love someone and willing to take the risk.

Yes it does matter or I think you need to consider what’s to come long term down the road if it does works out and communicate these things with your potential partner.

- Who is willing to move?
- Changing jobs
- Uprooting Kids school/work
- Leaving family and friends behind

Personally I need someone I can touch on a regular basis, to be an active companion.

It may work for some I guess, but wouldn’t work for me. I may consider someone in the same province or country, so the commute wouldn’t be to long.

Of course it does. LDRs rarely work. And only people who want to move to a country other than their own ask that question.

Yes - if you look at it as reality
no - if you are delusional and believe fantasy is reality

Distance MIGHT NOT matter if you (1) have known the person for years - maybe from your hometown (2) you have emailed for a LONG time, face-timed and paid the $19 or whatever to do a background check.

Distance DOES matter if you have never met the person, know no details about him/her except what they have told you, and it costs money to travel. Also you should each pay your own food and motel and get TWO rooms. Make sure yours has a lock on the door.

There are people murdering their own families, so in looking for love, we cannot afford to float away in fantasy land. We MUST be careful.

Only if you live in constant fear of other people.
Most people want to be able to touch the ones they love. Get that UP CLOSE and PERSONAL comfort you can only get if you are actually near them.

No. when you meet a Man that doesn't mind Traveling to meet a nice woman.
You cannot be in love with a man you never met and spent time with .

Some men don't mind Traveling out of their own city.

Heck yeah, it matters! It's not fun, not being able spend time together in person, not being able to reach out and touch your partner every day. It's not fun having to shell out $1300 for an airline ticket each time one of you flies to see the other. But sometimes you meet someone amazing online who happens to live very far away from you, and you form a connection. It happens, and if you both really want to make it work, you will. But I would not recommend intentionally seeking out an LDR.

LDR is quite Expensive type of Dating , but some may like it and some may not . As far as I am concerned It may be a Big No ... Rest I don't Know .

In most cases distance doesn't matter as long as two hearts are connected, that means there is enough trust between the two, communication, commitment, honest.

For me I really don't mind distance as long as there is a meaningful progress between two souls, though I have been so unlucky too and I noticed when someone is serious about love or getting someone for a long lasting relationship it's even getting more and more difficult to find love.

I'm not against distance or age and we shouldn't because who knows where your soulmate might be. you end up with the wrong people because we're worried about the wrong things like distance. I'm just looking for the right woman. I don't care where as I'm willing to travel anywhere.. I love traveling
