Imagine dating someone for four or more yes and find out that he/she been lying to you since you started dating, what will you do? Discovering that some one close to you has told you a lie is not a good thing. If they lied to you by saying they were single, and you found out they had an estranged wife say, I think that is different to discovering they are 10 years older than they said they were. Only you know the lie, and whether you can forgive them, but if there were a multitude of lies I think a habitual liar is beyond forgiveness in my opinion. |

Lying usually indicates a trust issue.
Lies can and do get out of control. Sometimes the liar doesn't know where the truth stops and the lie begins. In the future I recommend honest communication from the start. Honest communication which is founded in mutual trust. |

You learn from it.
It takes a long time to really know someone. Especially if their intention is to fool you. Liars will always lie, it is their MO. But the naive can learn. |
