I am an arts therapist by trade, and used to work with soap stone.

|
|
|
Knew an old guy years ago that built stone fireplaces, walls and such. Also did brick-work.
Interesting to watch him crack stones in half. Some folks can do some fine things with stone, a hammer and a chisel. Wish I could. |

I am also doing something that is close to stone working, I am laying out a broken driveway. Where I had gravel and weeds will be large concrete pieces that I am fitting together. It is only about 2000 sq ft but it is more work than I thought it was going to be...lol But it is one of those 'spare time' projects...
