Hoping River is safe I'm not getting much info on her area, power outages, tornado watches and warnings and lots of water in her area... Continued prayers! Thanks KitKat We're fairly safe here. I think the major threat is flooding and possible waterspouts or tornados. Though tornados aren't typical for the Keys, but who knows with this storm. Be careful, it looks like you're in it's path or extremely close to it. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and Rock, as well as everyone else in Ian's path. |

I was thinking the same thing, looking at the path, that KK is very close to that or in that path :/ Don't know about where you are, but Key Largo didn't seem to be in the direct path. But that area is very small isn't it? So difficult to guesstimate but when looking on Google maps that whole area seems like 10 meters wide, hihi. Not where I'd wanna be during a major storm. (says me who lives below sea-level in a storm & flood prone area, lol) The same for where you work, Isla something. Seems so narrow, like barely 10 meters. Would give me the creeps to be there, but I guess in real life it'll be somewhat bigger, hahaha. In any case, wishing you all are safe and have prepared well for this!! |

Key Largo ranges from 1 to 2.5 miles wide. I'm about a half mile from the Bay. Where I work, I'm right on the water. Flash flooding during peak high tide times poses the most danger. Fortunately tomorrow, high tide will be while I'm working, not while I drive to and from work. We'll be under a storm surge, flash flooding watch through Friday. But only 2 to 4 feet, which would obstruct driving, but won't be life threatening, unless you're crazy enough to be |

North of Fort Myers is anticipating up to an 18 foot storm surge. |

Everyone okay?
Dade City (about 33 miles inland) has lots of rain, and tropical storm force winds. Approximately 150 miles NE of Fort Myers |

Being careful as I can.
Everything is closed, roads are flooded due to rain, and no reason to go anywhere anyway. http://youtu.be/ue2-ZVxpVjc |

Glad you're okay Rock.
Other than some coastal flooding and a few tree branches here and there, the Upper Keys was spared any major damage. |

Rock !!!’ You are so stubborn . I am not sending my yacht to rescue you but you can borrow a surfboard or paddle board lol hope you at least prepared for power cuts .. silly boy xox

Well, that's two members safe. Any word on KitKat or her area? I think her area got hit quit bad after all? KitKat is safe but she has no power. She said that Ian was Cat1 when it hit her area and she was dealing with lots of wind and flooding. |

Sending hugs and wishes for safety to all my Florida Minglers.
