Great rebuttal and I meant to say most men think this way and there's a higher ratio to men than women.

How you get the ratio of most men's only... What you feel, go according to that... trying to mix salad in curds...:wink:

Men can go without it just the same if they so choose.
Matter of mindset and priorities.
And for women it's more difficult to keep feelings and the act of sex separate. We get a huge dose of oxytocin dumped in our blood and brain which is the bonding hormone. So even if we don't want anything from a guy other than sex we can still end up having feelings for him.
Some women can keep this separate, but these are usually women more in their masculine energy --> higher levels of testosterone.

There are btw also men that don't like to engage in sex without anything else involved. This would most certainly go for the men that have their heart open.

Not going to elaborate further on all this. Told the story many times, even posted an article on the subject last week by a well-known dating coach.

Just know it's not like you say and think. Matter of choice and what's more important in life to you: mindless sex or a deep love connection.

I must be the exception then....I've survived decades without it.

42+ years and counting.

Great rebuttal!!!!!!! And are you referring to "Coach Corey Wayne"?

No, I was referring to Tim Veninga.
But this stuff is taught and told by every decent relationship & dating coach.

A coach myself, I've taught -and teach- this too, as I coach about masculine & feminine dynamics. Hormones play a huge part in this so I know a lot about it. I've specialised in all this.

A deeper thing behind this: the energy centres of the belly area -which is where sexual energy resides- should be connected to the energy centre of the heart. When they are you can have healthy loving relationships with love-based, meaningful sex.
Unfortunately men's collective wound is the heart and as a result most don't have that open, aren't in touch with their deeper feelings, and as such can't get into the love centre. Then the sexual energy isn't connected to love and becomes lust-only.

Women are mostly looking for meaningful sex as they can get into their hearts -their collective wound is elsewhere. Meaningful sex means have an emotional connection, a bond, and thus a relationship.
Women aren't so good at lust-only NSA sex as their feelings surface when they have sex. That does not mean they want sex less or less often than a man.

Hello laughter is good

arousal for men can be driven by a single stimulus .. usually visual . . For women arousal is more complex .

As for libido and desire for sex , it is unfair to generalise , as that is not necessarily gender specific and is influenced by lots of factors including age , hormonal function , health , lifestyle , personal beliefs about sex , the value attributed to sex and what societal/cultural/religious pressure someone is exposed to .
Libido is not a static state .

I am sure you have heard the old joke about men having two brains .. that is simply not true .. a penis is. Incapable of thought or rationalisation . Sure at times it may seem that male arousal is trigger happy but it is infact the mind , our largest sexual organ , which is responsible . Without the brain there would be no arousal . It is brain function that accounts for differences in libido . . Controlling hormonal feedback loops , pleasure centre activation , blood flow , energy levels , mood etc .

Like any pleasure , sex can be addictive . How you respond and cope is an individual response .

Hope that helps

Many women reach their sexual peak later in life. You might find that you reach a point in a few years where your partner's sex drive is higher than yours. Hope you find someone you're sexually compatible with. waving
