I agreed the saying : "AGE DOESN'T MATTER". Because what's matter most is our MATURITY. What's next? "LOOKS DOESN'T MATTER"? or maybe "HYGIENE DOESN'T MATTER"? We are humans and some things attract us while other things drive us away. To each their own but please use some common sense like not liking somebody too young or too old. Remember you don't stay the same the same age and neither will they and your views may change over time.

With the far majority of people, by matter of fact, it matters a lot. Even if there are 2 quite distinct groups of people. > Those for whom it is important that the age difference is minimal. > Those for whom it is a goal to get into a considerable age difference, always one sided. (Mostly men want a quite younger woman, woman want a quite older man. The opposite is very rare) That it really does not matter at all (at random !!??) is extreme rare...

Well it obviously does matter, in many scenarios. In terms of dating, most men my age (mid 40s) appear to have an upper age limit of 40 for a prospective partner.
