I have had the same things happen in the past. I do know how to treat a lady..opening doors, etc..I'm just old school. but then the woman wanted to move in and talk about marriage in two weeks...way too fast for me. So no hurry on the progress..and definitely friendship and chemestry established first.

I am one hour south of Tulsa...and I won't be traveling for a few more years either...I still have a 13 yr. old daughter at home...but, I am a nurse and there are jobs that contract nurses to travel all over....family welcome to go!!! Lol...I think Hawaii is going to be my first stop.

It's because women only want what they cant or dont already have. And we are all drawn to a "type". I'm sure there are plenty of women who are attracted to you, you just don't like them. But, if the initial attraction is there and you start dating, if your what she's looking for it will last. And vice versa. I always follow my heart. And I seem to get hurt deeper and more often because of it. But I dont regret it. Keep following your heart and be honest. You will eventually find her.

Just seems to be distance, age difference and timing for the most part then I guess. At least for on here.

I'm kinda stuck where I am for now as far as "area" and unless you play golf or tennis, there is not a lot going on. I don;t do the clubs/bar scene...that's just the same old "type" crowd that I really don't care much for, because most are usually (not all) into heavy drinking, drugs and shallow as hell.

So where does a person look? that why I am trying here on the internet...I have ran out of ideas.

You know that old saying "if you don't use it, ya lose it?" Well my tongue is about to fall off due to lack of certain activity! Among other features that don;t even need to be mentioned!

So where do I go? What do I do?? Women are lucky to a point..at least they are not chemically driven! And my team of psychologists haven't been much help in this department...although they have narrowed down my "personalities" from 12 to 8...a little less of a party, but can make out the voices in my head a little clearer now.

I think women are jaded with the motions of dating. I'm a single parent and dating seems like it would be another job. Unfortunately you meet and date soooo many jerks until you're worn out and pass up the "bona fide nice guy". Personally, a guy can be as hot as Brad Pitt with the charisma of Obama and the patience of Jesus and I'd pass up an oppurtunity to date him, not because I am bitter, just tired of the motions of dating. Not to mention, being single for many years makes one a bit selfish, eh?
