That the country isn't better off is more due to the policies of the Republicans who control the House, and seem eager to shut down the government. It's not like they're going to just let Biden have a political win, much less undo the damage from Trump's policies.

We can't have a solution for the Southern border because Congressional Republicans won't agree to any border deal in order to deny Biden any political win. They wreck the border policy and then blame Biden for the mess we've got.

The republicans know that Biden want more money to hire more border gaurds to change diapers or make sandwiches for the illegals that joe is allowing into our country. Let the border gaurds do their job of protecting and turning people back at our border and the money will be there. He has NO plans to stop the invasion.

Yes. And the solution is ‘ build the wall’ and force Mexico to secure their border and make people stay in Mexico until their asylum claims can be heard. The republicans have a bill on the floor that addresses securing the border, period. but senator Shumer won’t even bring it up for a vote because Biden wants to include more money in that bill for Ukraine and Israel. The president of the United States should take steps to protect the U.S. first and foremost . Instead Joe wants to sacrifice our security for the sake of non Americans….

Counterpoint: Tell Congress to stop sandbagging sensible immigration reform for political points. Extending the wall is a waste of money and asylum for immigrants is not a bad thing.
