damn i treated this girl sooo good. funny thing about it was i just came back from leave and my 2 exes wanted me back and i told no. because i liked this other girl that much. another funny thing is it happened right before i deply. just need advice?

Sorry to hear that. Long Distance relationships aren't easy... especially military ones. I know it takes a lot of trust, strength and independence... and some people aren't cut out for a commitment of such magnitude.

well all u could do is try and if that wasnt good anuff for them then u just dont need them,and if they treat u like **** then dont even try to hard,but just like singing said,when u get back theirs more ladies out their,(their is more fish in the sea that that one)

Maybe because you still have communication with your two "Ex's".
Some women feel that if you are still having THAT kind of communication with someone from your past, that they aren't really in your past. Just a thought.

Just a thought- the past is the past... I still have communication with a few of my exes... and no guy will ever tell me who I can and cannot associate with...
Take me for who I am and what I am, not where I've been. I believe that this should also apply to our military personnel. They are people too... and deserve a hell of a lot more credit than most are willing to give. These men and women give up THEIR lives so that WE can live... they serve and protect and sacrifice. I think it's awful that the people they leave back home play games and sneak around. TRUE- it's a tough job to make a military relationship work... BUT DON'T COMMIT TO IT IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT!
I am living through this now. It is one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. My friends and family ridicule me every day over my "phantom engagement with some sailor overseas"... Don't you think he'd be there if he could?

But just as a single parent must put their kids first and foremost in life and relationships, someone in the Military must also put their duty above all else...

It takes a great deal of patience, trust, understanding and communication to handle this...

some people can't handle such intensity.

Nativegod, I give you a LOT of credit and give my gratitude to you, my friend, for your service and sacrifice.

Don't feel bad, just move on. It seems, in life, as if we have to go through many people before we find what we seek.

Sorry about your ex. You will get past this though. Focus on your self and feel good in knowing you did your best. Never give love to someone who can't receive it. Save it for someone who would appreciate it. Better luck in 08
