So sorry for the loss of your familiar, Bailey. Thank you, Stormy It is still so damned hard...
I actually feel guilty about some things, like 'why didn't I do this, why not that.." And for loving Nila, feeling I hurt him with that :/ Feeling guilty I didn't notice sooner that something wasn't right etc. etc. I know that doesn't help and is a total waste of energy. Yet somehow I feel I failed him. Trying to focus on the good stuff, the good life he had with me. But this other voice keeps rearing its ugly head. I'll get there. But it isn't easy... |

Feeling a helluva lot better since I posted on FB just how dammed guilty I felt about XYZ concerning Bailey. Totally open. I got some great feedback from friends which helped me put things in another perspective.
I could stop crying, and in the end actually began to look a bit normal again. My eyes were still red and puffy this morning when I got up from crying so much since Friday. Always takes forever for my eyes to go back to normal again. In the end I even put on some make-up and did my hair and it felt good :) That numbing guilt has gone. |
