A recent case that (I would say) outlines all the hallmarks of bullying...
And the consequences of it, if it is not caught and the perpetrator is not "rehabilitated" or the perpetrator does not "grow out of it".. Then the bullies moves onto bigger things" (like the horrific recent case) such as even murder... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Brianna_Ghey |

What ever happened to "sticks and stones"?
We should all be bubble boys and girls and this society will never ever ever get hurt |

Have you ever experienced it? I'm an avid online gamer.. back in the dialup days i used to play in the wee hours of the morning as the price per hour was half that of prime time. So with that reason i used to use the name nocturnal - that is, usually comes out / is active during the dark / night. I got bullied by someone because they were so crass and must have attributed the word dark in the definition of my online persona name as being indigenous for whatever odd reasons. So here i am dueling a dude with a bunch of people watching and one of them kept saying derogatory indigenous insults to me. He was totally raging. |

Online bullies can get money or fame from it - or be exempt from bullying.
Have you read about gamergate? All it takes is one disgruntled ex to twist everything around and play puppet master with other people to make someone a target. And the targets are not just subject to nasty words or comments - they are physically attacked . It seems a lot of these sites have unofficial "patrollers" who think that if someone is not independently wealthy they must be a scammer - what do you think - is someone who is not wealthy automatically someone you do not want to date? What are you looking for a bank account or a companion? |

What are you looking for a bank account or a companion? Wow, that's a lot to think about! It's crazy how online bullying can have such serious consequences. I believe wealth shouldn't determine someone's worth or who you want to date. I look for a great companion, not a bank account! It's all about connecting with the right person, don't you think? |
